xLAB Program

Roundtable Discussion Laurence Keefe + Kaz Yoneda + Toshiki Hirano 2018.08.06 (MON) 18:30 @Tokyo Midtown Hibiya

Throughout the 2 weeks, students who receives advanced architectural education will conduct their works at the Studio. In the xLAB Summer Program, with the start of the studio, a lecture will be held as a public program as well.

As studio instructors along with Greg Lynn and Andrew Witt, we have Kaz Yoneda (Adjunct assistant professor of Architecture and Urban Design at Keio University and bureau’s founding principal) and Toshiki Hirano (Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo Department of Architecture and founding partner of Toshiki Hirano Design). At Roundtable Discussion, Kaz and Toshiki will be giving lectures talking about their current interests and their works, and after the lectures, Laurence keefe who is a member of adidas japan skating team will join them to discuss the perspectives of both architects and skaters towards cities. From the city image emerging from two different perceptions, we hope to find the new status of the cities.
Please join us at the event. We are looking forward to seeing you.
