Upcoming xLAB Summer Program 2018.06.04

We are holding the xLAB Summer Program 2018!

The theme of this year is “Mobility.”
It goes without saying that “Mobility” had a great impact on construction of our cities in 20th century. Transportation and mobility are the lifeblood that form the very real and physical backbone of our cities. Today, however, with development of new mobility such as autonomous car, personal mobility, ride sharing, physical distribution, and other new technologies including Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, the conventional transport logics are no longer suitable for our new cities.

Methodologies developed by architecture to address static space is no longer sufficient to build the future environment. To explore architecture’s elastic boundaries and new approaches, xLAB will invite interdisciplinary professionals to the studios for two weeks. Also, in addition to the existing events from last year, this year, we have symposium and exhibition that are open to the public.
